Web Design
America 250 at UA is a university-wide initiative commemorating the upcoming 250th anniversary of the United States and highlighting the University of Alabama’s role in civic engagement, history, and scholarship leading up to the national celebration.

Project Overview
Client: Mississippi State University - High Performance Computing Collaboratory (HPC²)
Industry: Higher Education
Timeline: 4 weeks
My Role: Web Designer
While working as a graphic designer at Mississippi State University, I was responsible for designing and managing the layout and visual structure of the HPC² research newsletter, which highlights advancements, faculty work, and collaborative projects within the university’s high performance computing research community.
The newsletter was built and managed within WordPress, requiring a design approach that balanced visual clarity with readability for complex academic content. My role focused on organizing articles, imagery, and research highlights into a layout that was easy to navigate while maintaining a polished and professional presentation for a research-focused audience.
Working within the constraints of a content management system, I structured the newsletter to improve content hierarchy, visual flow, and readability across devices. Typography, spacing, and imagery were carefully arranged to support long-form content while ensuring the design remained visually engaging and accessible.
The final layout created a consistent and organized format for communicating HPC² research updates and accomplishments to both academic and external audiences.
